Community Involvement

Don Hattan has a history of over 75 years of community involvement. When we get asked why Don Hattan supports the organizations we do, the answer goes back to our values. From female empowerment, to youth education and sports, to veterans, our goal is to instill the same values in the community that we built our business upon.

Being a female-owned business, we look for ways to support women being in the driver’s seat (figuratively and literally!) both inside and out of the automotive business. Whether it’s collaborating with female athletes, supporting breast cancer research, or raising awareness for women’s heart health with the American Red Cross, empowering women is one of the pillars on which our business stands.

We believe youth sports and education programs ingrain values in men and women that shape them into strong leaders who will continue to be successful later in life. Many of the personality traits we look for in our employees are taught in sports or found in retired veterans: dependability, discipline, hard-work, collaboration, you name it. These programs teach strong moral lessons that are not always covered in school, as well as how to work with a team towards a shared goal. We admire our young athletes, students, and retired veterans, and are proud to support them in any way we can.
