Don Hattan Community Involvement: Investing in Kansas Communities Since 1949
At Don Hattan Dealerships, our commitment to South Central Kansas goes far beyond selling and servicing cars. Since 1949, our family-owned auto group has believed that strong local businesses build strong local communities. Under the leadership of 3rd-generation Dealer Principal Jill Hattan, we take pride in actively investing our time, resources, and sponsorship dollars back into the towns our customers call home.
From supporting public education and youth athletics to organizing regional automotive events and aiding local shelters, our team across Park City, West Wichita, Derby, and Augusta is dedicated to driving positive community impact every day.

4 Ways We Actively Support South Central Kansas
1. Annual Haulin' Oz Truck Show & Local Events
We bring automotive enthusiasts and families together for cause-driven regional events. One of our signature initiatives, the Haulin' Oz Truck Show at the Kansas Aviation Museum, raises vital funds and awareness for community organizations while celebrating classic and modern truck culture.
2. Emerging Leaders Professional Mentorship
Leadership starts at home. Through our co-facilitated Emerging Leaders program, Don Hattan leadership works directly with emerging local professionals, offering mentorship, skill-building workshops, and personal growth strategies to develop the next generation of Kansas leaders.
3. Supporting Local Schools & Booster Programs
From Park City and Valley Center to Derby and Augusta, we actively partner with local school districts. By sponsoring sports teams, band programs, academic clubs, and teacher appreciation initiatives, we help ensure local students have access to top-tier extracurricular opportunities.
4. Trail Town & Economic Development Support
We believe in enhancing local quality of life and supporting outdoor recreation. Don Hattan Dealerships actively backs regional initiatives—such as the Andover-Augusta RailTrail Initiative—to promote economic growth, outdoor wellness, and community connection.
